How to grow bigger arms/ triceps || Best 4 triceps workout

To grow your bigger arms  you have to hit your triceps muscle more often. Friends triceps muscle consists two third of the total size of your upper arms.

So, train wisely while hitting your arms. Because many of you focuses more on mirror muscles such as biceps.


Whether you are new lifter or old fitness freak always start with compound exercises (which hit all part of muscles) then go to isolation exercises (which hit particular part of the muscle).

Your triceps muscle has three major parts-

  •  Long head
  •  Lateral head
  • Medial head

As the name suggests long head is the longest out of these three. It consists more volume, Lateral head present just beside the long head. Medial head is not often visible because it is present in between long long and lateral head.

V-bar press down

 Start with press down it will warm up your your all three parts of triceps muscle. And and poses more  pressure on your elbows.


Tip

 keep your bar away from your your body

Skull crusher

This is a mass building exercise which will help you to get serious mass put on. Take take E-Z barbell or simple barbell. Keep the barbell movement to go and fro from your skull.


Tip

Keep your arms straight.

Overhead extension

 The key to do this exercise is keep the arms next to the ears. keep slow and steady movement.

Tip

 Do this exercise while sitting position

 Cable rope overhead extension

 The overhead triceps extension is an isolation exercise that is performed with the cable.


Tip

 keep your angle around 45 degree with the rope.
